Benefits of Celery Juice

There are a few things that excite me as much as celery juice. Until you’ve experienced 24 hour days of acid reflux, sleep deprivation, migraines and the inability to hold anything you eat down, then you simple can’t understand the joy that comes with getting a remedy that doesn’t involve injections, laxatives or antibiotics.

I’ve always had tummy related issues. With a really sensitive stomach and a genetic predisposition to digestive disorders, my relationship with food has been rather ominous. Last year during quarantine, my struggle with acid refluxes and migraines only got worse, presumably because I was so far removed my daily routine that my body was having a hard time adjusting. One night, it was so bad I cried myself to sleep and that’s when my sister introduced me to celery juice.

The first week I struggled to understand how a human incapable of eating arugula could voluntarily consume celery juice because I couldn’t. And I tried – with honey, and then pineapple, and then I added mint and watered it down, yet still 😫

If you happen to be familiar with my eating habits, then you know I can pretty much stomach anything green and gross so I was quite surprised that this is where my taste buds drew the line. But I’m resilient on anything that’s bound to help my gut. Fast forward, I’m on a mission to convert each one of you and I hope it’s working. In the last year since introducing celery juice to my diet, migraines, acid refluxes have become a part of my past, my fish intolerance is almost non-existent, my skin is glowing and i sleep so much better at night!
